Ray Barretto, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Celia Cruz, Willie Colon, Mongo Santamaria, the Fania All-Stars, Machito...these are just some of the names found on Ricky's considerable list of credits. He is, however, equally versed in the current youthful Pop-Salsa movement (Marc Anthony, Tito Nieves, Brenda K. Starr, etc.) as in the traditional.
His production of the Tito Nieves crossover classic "I Like It Like That" propelled that song to worldwide recognition. Outside of Latin music, Ricky has penned arrangements for Frank Sinatra, George Benson, Jimmy Heath, The Big Apple Circus and contributed orchestrations to several film soundtracks.
One of the most in-demand pianists in the New York scene, Ricky continues to electrify crowds with energetic playing and inventive solos.
